Ghana international, Thomas Partey could make a surprise return to Spain this summer with reports suggesting that he is on the radar of La Liga outfit Sevilla.

The Black Stars poster boy joined English Premier League club Arsenal last summer from Atletico Madrid on transfer deadline day.

Despite joining the Gunners with a lot of promise, he could not have the expected impact largely due to several injury setbacks he suffered.

As he prepares with his Arsenal teammates in pre-season for the upcoming 2021/2022 football season, information gathered indicates that Thomas Partey is a transfer target of Sevilla.

The club has monitored the situation of the midfielder and believes there is the possibility he could be persuaded to move this summer.

This is because he does not appear happy after a season that did not go as planned.

Also, there is the belief that some officials of Arsenal are not impressed with the player's output and are open to accepting a reasonable offer from any interested party.

At the moment, Sevilla has not made any official contact with Arsenal for Thomas Partey.

Things could however change in the next few weeks before the window closes.
