The young striker has been with team B of the Spanish Club for the past year where he managed to make a name for himself.

His impressive exploits earned him a call-up to represent his country at the U-23 level where he played with the Black Meteors at the U-23 Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt last year.

Ahead of the return of football in Spain, Real Oviedo head coach Cuco Ziganda has given an invitation to Samuel Obeng to come and train with the first team.

This is a piece of good news for the striker who has shown hunger for success in the past year. It will be an opportunity for him to convince the gaffer to promote him to the first team.

Other players invited from the team B of the club to train with the first team are, Jorge Mier (right-back), Josín (center), and Alberto Hórreo ( defender).

Though there is no definitive date for the return of football in Spain, it is being reported that it can be real soon.
