Ghanaian Abdulai Salamatu named in Maltese Football Players Association Women's Team of the Season

Ghanaian forward Abdulai Salamatu has been named in the Maltese Football Players Association Women's Team of The Year after explosive display.

Salamatu delivered a masterful performance throughout the season for the Swieqi United FC, earning her a place in the team of the season.

She was chosen by the player association of Malta Football Association - 1900 Women's Premier League as part of the 2023/24 Women's Best XI.

The Ghanaian youngster joins goalkeeper Patricia Da Silva as the only players from Swieqi United to have made the cut in the team of the season.

Putting on a stellar performance, the Black Princesses attacker racked up an incredible 23 goals for Swieqi United FC in the Malta Female League.

Salamatu was a former player of  Bagabaga Ladies in Ghana’s Women’s Division One and  Premier League side, Northern Ladies.
