Ghanaian international, Nasiru Moro has been slapped with suspensions in three matches after receiving a red card while in action for his Örebro SK outfit in the match against Varberg in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

The centre-back was in action for his team last weekend but due to a very bad tackle on Robin Tranberg he was sent off.

Initially, he was only expected to miss one match after the game. However, with a report filed to the Swedish Football Association's disciplinary committee, they have reviewed the incidence and ruled that he serves an addition suspension for two more matches.

“After receiving the report, opinion and match video, the disciplinary committee states that what happened should be punished with additional suspension in addition to the automatic match. The length of the suspension is determined according to the board's practice and corresponds to two matches," the board wrote in its decision.

Already, Nasiru Moro has missed Örebro SK’s match against Norrköping. He will go on to miss the matches against Malmö and Östersund.
