Ghanaian midfielder Kelvin Ofori provides assist in Spartak Trnava’s ECL stalemate against Nordjaelland

Young Ghanaian midfielder Kelvin Ofori provided a crucial assist to save Spartak Trnava from defeat against Nordjaelland in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Ofori was called to action when the Slovakian side held the Danish outfit to a 1-1 stalemate at the Right to Dream Park on Thursday night.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian midfielder lasted the entire duration as his side fought back to secure a point against Nordjaelland in the round four of Group H.

Nordjaelland opened the scoring through Marcus Ingvartsen in the 32nd minute mark after connecting from the spot. The home team held onto their lead for recess.

After the halftime break, the visitors staged a comeback to restore parity as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Slovakian international Michal Duris grabbed the equalizer in the 61st minute after he was set up by the Ghanaian international.

Ofori has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 27 games across competition so far this season.
