Ghanaian youngster Kwaku Osei Bonsu scored his first goal over the weekend for FK Senica in a 2-1 defeat at home to MSK Zilina in the Slovak Super Liga.

Bonsu, who joined the FK Senica from Bechem Chelsea in October had been playing for the second team, Malacky in the third division, but expressed confidence in joining the first team sooner than later.

The 19-year-old had a surprise call on Friday from first team coach Ricardo Cheu to join the squad for their weekend fixture against Zilina who are second on the league table.

He scored the first goal of the game on the half hour mark only for the visitors to equalise seven minutes later.

Zilina pushed forward at any given opportunity and kept probing the Senica defence in second  half to steal a win in the 89 minute of the game.

This is fourth time Bonsu has found the net after scoring three goals in each game in his first three appearances for Malacky.

The instant impact of the attacking winger earned him praise from his manager and teammates.

FK Senica are currently 9th on the league table with 19 points.
