Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban returned from injury to feature for Trabzonspor in their 1-1 stalemate against Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

The 25-year-old has been on the sidelines for three months following an injury he suffered in October after collision with teammates Ivanildo Fernandez in training.

He came off the bench to replace Majid Hoseini in the 66th minute as the Black Sea Storms secured a vital point at the Senol Gunes Stadium.

After a barren first-half, Trabzonspor took the lead through Alexander Sorloth in the a 50th minute before Yuto Nagatomo equalised in the dying embers of the game.

His return is a massive boost for manager Unal Karaman as Trabzonspor fight for top spot in the Super Lig intensifies.

The former Leeds United striker has made an impressive start to the season, having scored five goals in seven games before getting injured.
