Ghanaian striker Yakubu Ibrahim sets sight on winning Hong Kong Premier League golden boot

Striker Yakubu Ibrahim Nassam has declared his intention to end the season as the top scorer in the Hong Kong Premier League.

The former under-20 player who plays for B.C Rangers has been in sizzling form this season.

Ibrahim leads the goalscoring chart with eight goals and four assists in seven games.

In an interview with Kickoffghana.com, he said: “My target is to end the season winning the Golden Boot.

“Basically I feel so proud. It was really hard for me to score goals in the Hong Kong Premier League but hard work is doing the magic for me. It's really nice to score in front of the amazing fans.”

B.C Rangers are fourth with 13 points on the league log in Hong Kong.
