Ghanaian youngster Gideon Kodua over the moon after winning FA Youth Cup with West Ham

England-born attacker of Ghanaian descent, Gideon Kodua was a star for the West Ham Youth team on Tuesday night when the side defeated Arsenal to win the FA Youth Cup.

Speaking after the triumph, teenager Gideon Kodua expressed his profound excitement, insisting that he is part of a very special group of players.

“It was a good game and I think our boys are just a special group, really," the forward said.

Gideon Koduah continued, “The work-rate on the pitch and off the pitch is unbelievable and that's how you get here and win the cup!

“It feels amazing [to captain West Ham to a trophy win]. I would just like to thank God for everything. God has done so much for me and there is more to come from me and all of us, from the whole team, so we're just going to keep beating people.”

After playing very well this season, Gideon Koduah is set to break into the West Ham first team next season.
