Ghanaian youngster Kwame Poku had a standout performance for Peterborough United on Saturday when their cruised to an emphatic victory.

The 22-year-old English-born started and lasted 84 minute when his outfit cruised to a resounding 5-0 home win over Cambridge United in the English League 1.

Kwame Poku exhibited his qualities in the much-anticipated clash by scoring twice and serving an assist in the game.

Peterborough opened the scoring through Ephron Jardell Mason-Clark after 34 minutes into the game after he was set up by the Ghanaian international before scoring his second goal three minutes later.

The home team continued their demolishing exercise after Kwame Poku found the back of the net five minutes to halftime break.

The Ghanaian midfielder scored his second goal of the match after recess before Peterborough sealed victory in the 86th minute following an own goal from Bennett.

He has six goals and six assists for Peterborough in the League One this campaign.
