Hearts of Oak new signing Emmanuel Mintah has shared that he agreed to join the club because he wants to make history and be part of what the continental club masters are planning to achieve with their new squad.

The defensive midfielder completed his move to the Phobians last Saturday after agreeing to terms after weeks of negotiation. He joined on a free transfer after seeing out his contract with Ghana Premier League side Karela United.

Mintah, 23, has been signed to strengthen the squad that Hearts manager Kim Grant has assembled. The team is tipped for success in the near future and has now added three players to give them a boost.

Speaking during his unveiling by the club, the former Karela man shared, “I joined Accra Hearts of Oak because I want to make history. I know they are the continental club masters and I want to be part of it”.

He added, “I want to be part of this team and I want to make history. And am a winner and I want to win every game. I want to have my name in the books of the legends”.

Formerly of Bechem United, Emmanuel Mintah will join his new teammates to train this week as they continue preparations in anticipation to the start of the local league.
