Huesca looks more confident under new coach Antonio Hidalgo – Samuel Obeng Gyabaa

Ghanaian international Samuel Obeng Gyabaa says his SD Huesca outfit looks more confident under new manager Antonio Hidalgo.

The Spanish trainer Huesca in October and is expected to lead the club throughout the 2023/24 football season.

The former Ghana U23 striker scored for SD Huesca last Sunday to power his outfit to a narrow win over rivals SD Amorebieta in the Spanish La Liga 2.

The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net at the Instalaciones de Lezama Campo 2.

But the Ghanaian international ensured his side secure maximum points over the host after scoring from the spot in the 60th minute mark.

Speaking after the game, Obeng Gyabaa asserted his outfit looks more confident under their new manager.

"We are working very well with the coach and we are seeing things. It takes a short time but the things he wants to convey are already being reflected. The team is more confident," said Obeng, ensuring that although it is early to look at the table, know closer to positions of salvation, "it makes things look better and we are happier."

The former Ghana youth star has managed two goals this season for his outfit.
