Kevin-Prince Boateng's father, Prince Oppong Boateng has expressed delight over his son’s latest move to Barcelona.
The 31-year-old has surprisingly joined Barcelona on a loan deal from US Sassuolo until the end of the season with an option to stay at the club.
Boateng’s father is thrilled to see his second son join one of the biggest Clubs in the World.
“Three days ago, he phoned me to expect a surprise but I didn’t know about it.
"When he finally confirmed his move yesterday, it was a great joy for me.
"To have my two sons at Bayern and Barcelona,” he spoke to Space FM.
Boateng becomes the first Ghanaian to join the Catalan club.
