After the game, he admitted that Attah was a good opponent but he prepared well for the match.

"I am very happy. He [Attah] is a very good player because I didn't score him more than four goals. He is a very good player but he can't match me because I trained and I prepared very well before coming because I knew that this match was very very crucial so I decided to train very hard with my colleague players in Kumasi and I deserved to win," he told Joy Sports.

In the first game, the match ended in a draw. Danlad was asked if he used that match to study the opposition and he gave a positive answer.

"Exactly [the first game ended in a draw because I was studying his game] because that is how I play. In the first game I saw how he defended well and used the goalkeeper cursor so when you are coming to try and score, you need to have patience because definitely he'll drag the goalkeeper to one position and you will get the opportunity to score."
