Deputy Sports Minister Evans Bobie has stated that he is happy with the organization of the CHAN 2022 which is being held in Algeria.

Originally scheduled from 10 July to 1 August 2022, CAF rescheduled the tournament to January 2023 following an announcement at an executive committee meeting held on 10 September 2020 via video conferencing, citing the postponement of the 2020 edition to 2021 and the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Africa as well as the already-scheduled 2022 FIFA World Cup in November – December 2022.

The tournament is held in four venues in four cities across the host nation Algeria: Algiers, Oran, Constantine, and Annaba.

The Black Galaxies played their group games in Constantine. They are set to move to Oran to take on Niger in the quarterfinals.

"On the organization of this tournament I say the Ghanaian team and the delegation is so impress we are very much impress happy about the way the whole thing has happen. Even though we have finished the group stages matches but I must say that during the group stages matches from the open day still today in terms of organization very thing has been excellent," Hon. Bobie told reporters.

"We are now preparing to go into the quarterfinal stage and probably to proceed to the semifinal and final. For now, I don't know going forward what will happen but for now, Ghana is satisfied with the way Algeria has been able to organize this tournament,"
