Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has indicated that he will retire from football after serving his time at German side Hertha Berlin.

Boateng joined his boyhood club after playing for Serie B side AC Monza and has been switching clubs for a while now.

"This is definitely my last stop. No matter how long it goes," said the 34-year-old attacker in a discussion group in Neuruppin.

"It felt like I changed clubs every six months. That sucks too," said Boateng who had changed clubs 13 times in the last 14 years.

Boateng is impressed by the young Berlin team with many talents. "But talent is not enough. What the boys sometimes lack is the will and the passion," he stated.

Boateng recently played for Hertha Berlin in a preseason match and helped his side to a win.
