Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has disclosed that he was satisfied with the performance of all his players during the 2021/22 football season.

Although the Phobians failed to defend the Ghana Premier League title won the previous season, the team managed to retain the MTN FA Cup trophy.

Reflecting on a season where his team struggled, Coach Samuel Boadu says his players made him proud despite the many injury setbacks.

“Hearts of Oak have suffered more than any club this season. I'm never disappointed in our performance this season,” Coach Samuel Boadu told Asempa FM in an interview on Friday morning.

The Coach further assured fans of Hearts of Oak that his team will do better in Africa next season. Courtesy of the MTN FA Cup triumph, the Phobians will be competing in the CAF Confederations Cup next season.

"I don't think we will concede 6 goals in Africa again. The boys are now exposed.

"The more you participate the more you learn. I have learned how to prepare for Africa. We wouldn't want to go like we did last season. The timing was bad last season,” Coach Samuel Boadu added.
