In-form Baba Mahama staying grounded despite recent fine form

Asante Kotoko attacker Baba Mahama says he needs to focus on working hard and not get carried away following his recent fine form for the side.

Mahama who joined Kotoko from Tema Youth has scored two goals in his last two goals.

Since the arrival of coach Steve Pollack, the 21-year old has been enjoying regular first team action.

“I am really happy with my performance, and I appreciate the support from the fans,” he spoke to Ghana Sports Newspaper.

“I wouldn’t allow that to get into my head, I have to focus, the fans are always there to cheer you on when you do well, so I just have to focus and try to do my best.”
