It is going to be tough- Kasim Nuhu on playing football behind closed doors

Fortuna Dussledorf defender Kasim Nuhu expressed some concerns on the prospect of playing football behind closed doors.

The Ghanaian will return to action with his club in the Bundesliga this weekend and it has been decided that he and his team mates will play behind closed doors till the end of the season.

He believes that playing in that setting is like playing on a neutral ground.

“Football is always played with fans so playing behind closed doors will affect some of us. Because, we have always been playing in front of our amazing fans,” Nuhu told TV3 in a live Instagram conversation anchored by Juliet Bawuah.

“It’s going to be very tough for us. Because, playing without fans for example we [Fortuna Dusseldorf] are the last but three club on the table so it’s going to be very difficult because we will need our fans to cheer us on. So that we can get the [needed] motivation from them [fans] to deliver."

“Playing behind closed doors is like playing on neutral grounds” he concluded.
