Joseph Esso happy with Hearts’ new home

Accra Hearts of Oak’s new signing, Joseph Esso has lauded the Management of the club for their decision to settle on the Cape Coast Stadium for their matches in the yet to start 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.

The former Ebusua Dwarfs attacking midfielder told journalists in Cape Coast that, he was extremely happy about the choice of his new club explaining that his familiarity with Hearts’ new venue will aid his performance for the Phobians.

“Choosing here as our home grounds will help me as an individual. I have played and know this stadium, it will be useful to us” he said while praying that, anytime the league gets underway, he will be able to perform to expectation.

Joseph Esso also dispelled fears of not excelling at Hearts of Oak. “Hearts of Oak is a big club but I’m not scared because it’s normal to me as a footballer. With help from other colleagues, we can raise the image of the team” he added.

Hearts of Oak have relocated their home venue to the Central Regional Capital because the Accra Sports Stadium is being renovated.
