Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are breaking goalscoring records this season.

On Saturday, Liverpool eased to a 3-0 win over Southampton, with Mohamed Salah (2) and Philippe Coutinho on the scoresheet.

The win meant Liverpool have now won by three or more goals in four consecutive games for the first time since Bob Paisley's Reds were sweeping all before them way back in 1980.

Liverpool official statistician Ged Rea revealed on Twitter: "LFC won by 3 goals for a 4th successive game yesterday.

"The last time they achieved it was more than 37 years ago when they beat Swindon (5-0), Brighton (4-1), Oulu (10-1) and Man City (3-0). (Sept-Oct 1980)".
