Adam Lallana has revealed his sorrow at the news he will miss the next three months of football with a thigh injury.
The Liverpool playmaker sustained the injury in the first half of Wednesday's Audi Cup final in Munich.
Lallana posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: "As gutted as I am personally to be missing the start of the season, I have nothing but confidence in how the team is going to do,' he posted on Instagram.
"Lads are in great shape and ready to attack it. My focus is getting back and supporting the boys. Thanks for all the kind messages."
