Everton manager Ronald Koeman is reportedly targeting January moves for Manchester United duo Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin, according to theMirror.

The Old Trafford pair have both been restricted to limited playing time for much of this season and reports suggest Koeman is adamant that he will be able to get their Premier League careers back on track should they join the Toffees.

Netherlands international, Depay, scored a brace for during his country's 3-1 win against Luxembourg on Sunday, which followed Koeman's public admission that he is interested in signing the former PSV star.

I would like to have him. He's a young player with individual qualities and a threat," the Dutchman said. "He's efficient. I would like him in January.

Depay's United teammate, Schneiderlin, has played just six minutes of Premier League football under Jose Mourinho this season. The Frenchman starred under Koeman during their time together at Southampton before his £27m move to Old Trafford in 2015.

The 27-year-old managed to make 29 appearances in the league last season under Louis van Gaal, but the likes of Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick, Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini appear to be above him in the pecking order this season.

Koeman's move for the pair will reportedly be backed after Everton's majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri confirmed that there will be money to spend during the January transfer window.

The Toffees flexed their financial muscle this summer with the £25m signing of Yannick Bolasie and the £12m purchase of centre-back Ashley Williams.
