Medeama SC striker, Prince Opoku Agyemang has indicated that his team boasts of the best team in the Ghana Premier League this season.
Despite a slow start to the 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign, the team from Tarkwa has managed to recover.
Following a 2-1 comeback win against Asante Kotoko last Saturday, Medeama SC has climbed to the summit of the Ghana Premier League at the end of matchday 21.
Speaking to Kumasi FM after the game, striker Prince Opoku Agyemang says he believes Medeama SC has the best team in Ghana.
“Undoubtedly, we have the best midfielders in Ghana, there's no doubt about that. The inclusion of the new signings such as Amed Toure, Zakaria Mumuni, and myself have boosted the confidence of the old players.
"I don't think any club can compete us in terms of field of play this season. Our team cohesion works perfectly from the goalkeeping department to the attack," the Medeam sc striker noted.
Prince Opoku Agyemang continued, “Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak though are doing well, to be honest, currently, the Tarkwa based Club is the best club in the country."
After that massive win against Asante Kotoko, Medeama SC have established themselves as strong contenders for the Ghana Premier League table.
