Ghana midfielder Michael Essien has signed a deal with worth $500,000 with sportswear Adidas in Indonesia.

The deal makes the former Chelsea player the face of Adidas in Indonesia.
Essien who is currently at Indonesian side Persib Bandung is working with Adidas for a second time after signing a similar deal during his Chelsea days.
The 34-year old since joining the side on a one-year deal has been instrumental in the Indonesian league.
