New GFA boss Kurt Okraku offers support to Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah

Newly-elected Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has offered his support to Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah ahead of the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

As reported by Oyerepa FM Sports on Tuesday, a meeting between Kurt Okraku, some executive committee members and the technical team of the Black Stars saw the new leadership of Ghana Football pledging their support to the cause of the black stars coach Kwasi Appiah ahead of the qualifiers.

A source at the meeting hinting Oyerepa FM Sports said: "We had a fruitful meeting with the coach and have assured him of our support to make sure he qualifies Ghana to AFCON 2021"

"The issue of his future came up but there’s no issue with that because he is still our coach"

Coach Kwesi Appiah and his lads will face South Africa and Sao Tome é Principe in the 2021 Afcon qualifiers slated for November 14 and 19 2019 respectively.
