Spanish-born Ghanaian winger Nico Williams grabbed an assist in Athletic Bilbao's thrilling 4-3 victory against Celta Vigo on Friday evening. 

The head-to-head record for the teams before the game was Athletic Club 13 wins, Celta Vigo seven wins, and six draws.

Nico Williams started the game at the San Mames Stadium and played the full 90 minutes. Nico's brother Black Stars striker Inaki Williams also started the game and lasted 80 minutes.

The home side enjoyed more possession throughout the encounter and had more shots on target.

Iago Aspas scored the first goal for Celta Vigo with a left footed shot from outside the box to the bottom left corner. Óscar Mingueza assisted Iago's goal in the 25th minute.

Oihan Sancet equalized for Athletic Club with a right footed shot from very close range to the bottom left corner in the 37th minute minute.

Jonathan Bamba and Jørgen Strand Larsen scored Celta's second and third goals.

Gorka Guruzeta scored twice for the home side and Alex Berenguer netted the winning goal deep into added time.
