Playing only four games last season was the worst period in my career – Braydon Manu

Ghanaian forward Braydon Manu has described last season as the worst of his career after playing just four games throughout the campaign.

The 27-year-old featured in only four Bundesliga matches due to persistent injuries.

Despite his significant contribution in the previous season, where he scored seven goals and provided seven assists to help Darmstadt secure promotion to the German top flight, Manu was plagued by injuries.

Reflecting on his challenging season, Manu expressed his disappointment.

"I was really sad that the season ended that way because it was the first time we went up with Darmstadt to play in the Bundesliga. I did my part to be there, and the injuries got me, so I didn't play that much,” he told Flashscore.

"I just played four games, so far as a footballer, it was the worst part of my career, but as a human being, I grew a lot because I get much more comfortable, much deeper with my faith.”
