South African side, Bidvest Wits has opted to part ways with Ghanaian International Edwin Gyimah following the player’s failure to make the required impact.

The 28-year-old midfielder joined Wits from Swedish second-tier side Helsingborgs IF in 2017 with high expectations to impress in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) but could not really find his feet.

Throughout the 2018/2019 season, the former Orlando Pirates player managed to make just five appearances for Bidvest Wits.

This has compelled the Clever Boys to terminate his contract for the two parties to go their separate ways.

The club has revealed that they will sign his replacement before the end of the current transfer window.
