Tamale City coach Mohammed Abdul Wahid leaves for refresher course in the USA

Tamale City coach Mohammed Abdul Wahid has left for the United States of America (USA) for a refresher course.

The former Legon Cities gaffer is expected to undergo some programmes to upgrade his knowledge in coaching.

He is expected to spend one-month in America for his course.

In his absence, assistant coach Hamza Mohammed will take charge of the team with support from the rest of the technical team.

A statement from the club reads, “Tamale City Football Club wish to announce that head coach Mohammed Abdul Wahid has left the country to the USA for a one-month refresher course”

“In his absence, assistant coach Hamza Mohammed will act as the head coach with support from the rest of the technical team”

The Ghana Premier League will resume on Monday, December 19 after month break due to the 2022 World Cup.

Tamale City will take on Bechem United at away in matchday 9 of the domestic top-flight on Wednesday, December 21.

Before the World Cup break, the Ghana Premier League newcomers had recorded just a win in the 8 matches played so far.

They currently find themselves in the relegation drop, sitting 17th position with 6 points.
