Henry Asante Twum, the spokesperson for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), commends the FA's efforts in their pursuit of elevating the league to new heights.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) shoulders the responsibility of not only organizing the league but also ensuring its widespread popularity.

Henry Asante Twum added that the clubs also have a role to play in the promotion of the league.

"It depends on where you sit it depends on what you are using to measure the enough you are saying. But I think as an FA yes we have done our best it may not be 100 percent of course I don't expect it to be 100 percent but I think we have done our best," he said on Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"From the time we launched the season to the announcement of the fixture list for the year the structure, the calender they are all part of the preparations and management of the competition. Yes, it is a two way thing once the FA who is regulator has done his part you also expect the clubs to also perform their role,"

"So it is a two way thing hand in hand we play our part they also play their part. On the part of physical promotion it may not have been absolutely the best but we will definitely learn from some of them we have picked up, learn our lessons going into next season. One thing that excite me is that hopefully next season the league becomes autonomous the clubs will deal directly with the sponsors and partners,"

"It will be their product and we will be managing other aspects like the appointment of referees, the judicial bodies will be in place, match review and others will be with the FA but when it comes to day to day running it will be in the hands of the autonomous league committee,"
