Asamoah Gyan popularly known in football circles as "Babyjet" has been playing professional football since 2003.

Gyan started playing professionally with Liberty Professionals, he made 16 appearances and scored 10 goals.

Gyan, 36, is clearly nearing the end of his career, but his recent comments about a potential comeback to the Black Stars have thrown him back into the limelight.

Gyan in an interview with the BBC said he is keen on playing for the Black Stars at the World Cup in Qatar.

The 37-year-old last appearance for Ghana was during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] in Egypt where the team exited at the Round of 16 against Tunisia.
