Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ben Davies is set to miss two London derbies after he injured his ankle against Bayer Leverkusen last week.

Welsh international Davies was forced to sit out Spurs' 1-1 draw against rivals Arsenal and the 23-year-oldhas since revealedthat heis set for another few weeks on the sidelines.

Davies, who has mainly been used as cover in his time at Spurs, was also absent from Chris Coleman's Wales squad due to the injury.

Davies, speaking at theFootball Association of Wales awards, explained "It's not too good at the moment, I've just got to get ready -it will be a good couple of weeks after this one to get back fit, so I've just got to work hard."

The news will not do Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino any favours as his Spurs side prepare for a busy schedule after the international break.

Tottenham face a crucial Champions League game against Monaco, sandwiched betweentwo London derbies against strugglingWest Ham and high-flying Chelsea.

Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies - don't moan, wait for their games, come in, do a fantastic job. Superb players to have as 'rotation'. COYS

Tottenham, who are still unbeaten in the Premier League, hold the best defensive record and will have to be at their very best against all three teams.

Slavan Bilic will be very eager to turn his West Ham side'sseason around -a chance to stop Tottenham's unbeaten run could be the game that Slavan Bilic needs to help get his team back on track.

Meanwhile, Monaco is a must win game for Spurs.

Pochettino will be needing his men to be fully focused in a game that could ultimately signal theend ofTottenham's Champions League campaign if they're not victorious.

Pochettino will also be needing his men to be mentally strong in their game against Chelsea; the last time the two teams faced off it resulted in disciplinary action for both teams, something they could certainly do with avoiding this time around.
