Tottenham are prepared to sell Fernando Llorente to Chelsea this week.

The London Evening Standard says Spurs will consider selling Llorente to Chelsea only if they can make a significant profit on the £14million they paid Swansea City five months ago.

The forward has struggled to make an impact at Spurs - scoring only twice in 23 appearances - but continues to be admired by Antonio Conte, who coached him at Juventus.

Spurs would also need back-up of their own were Llorente to depart. Michy Batshuayi, who has asked to leave Chelsea on loan, has been on Tottenham's radar for at least four years and nearly joined the club in 2016, but wants regular football which he would not get if competing with Harry Kane for a place.
