U-23 Africa Cup of Nations: Ernest Nuamah, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer to join Black Meteors camp today

Black Stars trio, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah and Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer will team up with teh rest of Black Meteors' squad later today.

The trio trained with the Black Stars for the matchday five games against Madagascar.

However, the Black Stars were held to a goalless game against the Barea at the Mahamasina Municipal Stadium on Sunday.

Kamaldeen Sulemana was named in Black Stars' starting XI while Ernest Nuamah came on in the second half but Königsdörffer was unused.

The draw leave Ghana at the top of Group E with 9 points and will wrap up their qualifiers against the Central African Republic on September 4.

However, the trio will now team up with the rest of Ghana's U-23 side in Egypt to continue their preparations for the upcoming 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco later this month.

The Black Meteors having held Egypt to a 1-1 drawn game on Thursday, Ibrahim Tanko and his charges will play Zamalek in a preparatory game on Tuesday.

Ghana have been housed in Group A alongside Morocco, Guinea and Congo.

The U23 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2023 will take place between 24 June to 08 July 2023 in the cities of Rabat and Tangier.

Group A matches will be held at Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex while Group B matches will take place at the Grand Stade de Tanger, in Tangier.

Ghana will be hoping to be part of the first three nations who will get their ticket for the Summer Olympics in 2024.
