Aduana Stars head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has stated that his boys were clinical in front of goal in their matchweek 18 game against Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians were beaten 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium by league leaders Aduana Stars.
In the 47th minute of the game, Isaac Mintah opened the scoring for Aduana Stars with a cool finish from a cross given by Sam Adams.
Isaac Mintah completed the memorable victory for Aduana Stars in the 64th minute with a solo run into the back of Richmond Ayi's goal.
“Well I think it was a good game to the footballing populace Hearts played well we also played well. We took our chances and we had the win and we are happy with that," Fabin said after the game.
"Of course we have 16 more matches to go so we have to take it one match at a time. We don’t want to be complacent and then feel we have won the league we have not we have 16 more matches to go congratulations for and excellent job,”
Aduana Stars remains first with 35 points and they will play against King Faisal in their next league game.
