Head coach for Real Zaragoza, Víctor Fernández is optimistic Ghanaian international Raphael Dwamena will start banging in the goals soon and has opted to stick with him in attack despite calls for him to be dropped.

The former FC Zürich striker joined the Spanish Segunda side this summer on a season-long loan move from UD Levante.

He was on fire in pre-season for Real Zaragoza but seems to be missing his shooting boots following the start of the lower division league. He is yet to find the back of the net for his new side in the league after starting all two games.

This has attracted worry from fans of the club who are calling on coach Víctor Fernández to drop the attacker this weekend when they go into match week 3 against Elche.

Despite all the pressure from the fans, Coach Víctor Fernández is reportedly keeping confidence in Raphael Dwamena and will play him as his lead striker in the upcoming match.

Nonetheless, it is likely the club will bring in another striker to give the on-loan Ghanaian a competition and extra motivation.
