Black Stars opponents Angola is expected to arrive in Ghana on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Ghana will play host to Angola on March 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium before the reverse fixture in Luanda on March 27.

In an interview, the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum confirmed Angola will arrive in the West African country on Tuesday for the encounter on Thursday afternoon.

“Angola will fly directly from their camp based in Algeria to Kumasi airport on Tuesday, March 21” He said.

The Black Stars returns to the Baba Yara barely a year after the 2022 World Cup play-off against Nigeria, where Ghana evicted the Super Eagles on an away goal rule.

Ghana is joint top of the Group E table with 4 points from two games following a 3-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-1 draw with Central African Republic in June last year.
