Antonio Conte Desperate to Bring Inter Milan Youngster to Chelsea in the Summer

Chelsea are reportedly desperate to sign Inter Milan prodigy Andrea Pinamontiwith Antonio Conte said to be a huge fan of the young striker.

The 17-year-old is yet to make his debut for the Italian giants, but his rise through the academy ranks at the club has caught the eyes of the European elite, with Juventus and Liverpool said to be interested in the player as well, according toTransfer Market Web.

However,Calcio Mercato, as perDaily Star, have now stated that Chelsea have voiced their interest in signing the player with Conte particularly keen to add to his youth ranks at Stamford Bridge.

Pinamonti is yet to sign a professional deal with Inter and the Chelsea boss is keen to get a transfer completed while the starlet is still tied down to a youth contract.

If this were to occur, UEFA rules dictate that Chelsea would have to hand over a compensation fee to Inter.

The youngster has appeared for Italy at U-19 level and a move to London could represent a huge career step so early in his career.

Nevertheless, Pinamonti would have to be content with either going out on loan or residing with Chelsea's youth sides due to the wealth of attacking talent at the club.

Diego Costa has the central striking role all to himself, while Michy Batshuayi is the backup to the Spaniard should they need it.

If the move for the Italian does materialise it is unlikely to be the only piece of business Chelsea do in the striker market due to the fact they will almost certainly be taking part in European competition once again next season.

Swansea's Fernando Llorente was talked about in the January window, but a more high-profile acquisition is likely in the summer months.
