Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Appiah McCarthy wants his outfit to repay fans with victory against Hearts of Oak following stalemate Heart of Lions.
Goldstars will play host to the Phobians in the matchday seven of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Having shared the spoils in their last game, the enterprising midfielder says his outfit must reciprocate the gestures shown by the fans in their last home game against Lions by defeating the Phobians.
“We’re preparing adequately ahead of our game against Hearts of Oak on Saturday. We wanted to secure all points in our previous game but it didn’t happen, leaving fans unhappy. So, this is time for us to repay our fans by beating Hearts of Oak to win maximum points. In our last game, I scored from a set piece. So if I get freekick opportunities against Hearts of Oak, I will definitely score” he told Wontumi FM monitored by Footballghana.com.
