Dreams FC have announced the acquisition of defender Christian Owusu from Techiman Liberty Youth FC in the ongoing transfer window.

Owusu joins the Ghana Premier League outfit on a four-year deal and is expected to play a huge role for the club in the upcoming season.

“Dreams FC are pleased to announce the signing of Christian Owusu. The Left-back joins the Believers from Techiman Liberty Youth FC. Christian Owusu signed a contract that will run until 2028” the club wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

He becomes the latest addition to Dreams FC's squad as they aim to improve on their performance in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

The enterprising left-back was a standout for Techiman Liberty Youth in the recently concluded Division One League campaign.

His outstanding performance caught the attention of several clubs but he opted to join the Still Believe lads.

The Still Believe lads faced challenges in the Ghana Premier League despite their exploits in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they reached the semifinals.

The new season will start in September with Dreams FC hoping to do better than they did last season in domestic competitions. They finished 9th in the Ghana Premier League.
