England born forward Eddie Nketiah was involved for Arsenal in the final 12 minutes of regulation time as Arsenal fell to a 2-1 defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.

After a scoreless first half, Arsenal went on the front foot. Nicholas Pepe finished off a counter attack with a cut in and shot in the 68th minute.

Brighton did not take long to recover. Lewis Dunk scored the equalizer from a corner kick in the 75th minute.

Nketiah was then introduced to help the team find a goal in the 78th minute. That however was not to be as Maupay found the net for Brighton during their last kick of the game.

Arsenal are now 9th on the log with 40 points and Brighton are 15th with 32 points.
