English-Ghanaian midfielder Jesurun Rak-Sakyi scores on Charlton debut to inspire 5-1 win against Plymouth

English-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Jerusan Rak-Sakyi is already off-the-mark in the English SkyBet League One after signing for Charlton Athletic a few days ago.

To ensure he enjoys regular playing time, Crystal Palace has transferred the teenager to Charlton Athletic on a season-long loan deal.

Marking his debut for his new club today, Jerusan Rak-Sakyi excelled and only needed 11 minutes to score his first goal.

The talented midfielder was presented with a good chance after a good team play and made no mistake as he slotted his effort into the back of the net.

With Charlton Athletic in the lead, the team played some fantastic football and subsequently capitalised on a red card to Plymouth in the 39th minute to score two more goals before the break.

Courtesy of goals from Jayden Stockley and Sean Claire, Charlton Atheltic had the advantage at recess.

Aftet the break, an exciting contest ensued between the two clubs as the hosts won 5-1 at the end of the 90 minutes.

On the matchday, Ghana goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott was in post for the winners.
