Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Sabbah Laryea wants a return to the club following  a season in Ethiopian top flight league.

The midfielder who had an amazing season during the term of Japanese-America tactician Keinechi Yatuhashi has been out of the country for some time but has returned and wants to rejoin the phobians.

The midfielder left the capital based club to play for Ethiopian side Dire Dawa where he has spent a season and has five months more left on his contract but the swashbuckling player wants a reunification with Accra Hearts of Oak.

“Well, of course, it was one of my favourite clubs, everyone knows that every time when I speak about Hearts of Oak I should speak with fond memories because they are the club that groomed me,” he told HomeBase TV.

”I loved it there, but we didn’t achieve the targets we hoped for and it would be great if they can do it this season,” he added.

“The people in the club treat well, so I appreciate it and in the future, nobody knows.”

“My contract with Dire Dawa Kanama is about five months to end, but in football you never say never. Only God can decide the future so we never know.”

Sabah Laryea played a vital role in the Phobians season last term where he partnered with Mustapha Essuman to form one of the best duosin the middle of the pitch.
