Ghana head coach, Otto Addo is working to improve talented teenager Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.

The Sporting Lisbon attacker was invited by the Black Stars head coach for the two friendly matches in the September international break.

In the game against Nicaragua last Tuesday, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku started the game and scored with a fine effort from distance.

Speaking after the game, Ghana coach Otto Addo backed the 18-year-old to improve but advised that he should be more decisive in the final third with his shooting.

“He's a very good winger, who shoots with power, but sometimes he needs to calm down and be more precise with the shot instead of kicking it with full power. That's what I told you.

“You have to feel free to do those runs between the lines, go one-on-one and when you have the opportunity, use your left foot gently. If I do that, I know it will be accurate enough to score," Coach Otto Addo said after the Nicaragua game.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has returned to Sporting Lisbon where he will not be aiming for more minutes in the senior national team.
