Ghana winger Albert Adomah has stated his readiness for his debut English Premier League season with newly promoted side Middlesborough. Albert Adomah is just days away from capping off his own unbelievable rise up the football ladder.

A decade on and the picture of Adomah's career has been transformed with the 28-year-old set to cap an astonishing rise as a key figure in Boro's squad for the coming Premier League campaign.

"I'm ready now and to be honest I really can't wait for pre-season to be finished," he said. "Pre-season helps, obviously. The training helps and it gets us fit to try and win games and helps us link up with new players.

"But at the same time you just want that to be finished so you can concentrate on the season."

"It does feel a bit surreal to be honest because you look up to these players having watched them on television and now you happen to be playing with them," he added.

"But it's part of my career now and obviously they can make me a better player."
