Ghanaian international Joseph Tetteh has set his sight on breaking into the Cagliari Calcio team when he returns from his loan spell at the end of the season.

The midfielder impressed during his time with the academy team of the Italian Serie A club but could not earn a place in the first turn at the beginning of the 2019/2020 campaign.

Now on loan at Serie D side San Donato Tavarnelle, he has managed to impress and has scored a goal and provided one assist prior to the suspension of the season due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a recent interview, Joseph Tetteh says he wants to break into the Clagiari first team when he returns from his loan spell.

"Here, I feel good. But it is also true that there were some problems and that were decisive for this step. Obviously, I hope to get back soon and to be able to play real football.

“Cagliari has remained in my heart, I always thought that sooner or later I would return to play there. Who knows”, the 20-year-old told CalcioCasteddu.
