Gilbert Koomson was injured on Sunday in the Norway Eliteserien as SK Brann faced Valerenga FC.
With the team down by 4 goals the winger was substituted and was replaced by Erlend Hustad.
Henrik Bjørdal gave the Valle-Hovin based club the lead after only four minutes, then Petter Strand equalized after eight minutes of action for SK Brann.
Valerenga FC's Vidar Örn Kjartansson then scored in the 14, 16 and 23 minutes to put the game beyond the visitors and seal the three points.
Osame Sahraoui scored Valerenga FC fifth goal to register a 5-1 win over SK Brann.
Koomson's contract with SK Brann runs till December 2021.
