German-born Ghanaian winger, Kingsley Schindler has his eyes set on earning a place in the Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

According to the player, he is keen on working hard at Cologne in hopes of getting in the good books of Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.

"I've said many times that it's a dream of mine to play for my parents' country.

"Of course you know each other and are always in contact. That spurs you on. I want to play good games with Cologne and continue to gas. Then Otto Addo has to decide,” Kingsley Schindler said.

Ghana after qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup was subsequently pitted in Group H.

In that group, Ghana will play against Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.

Next month, Ghana will be involved in a number of friendly matches as part of preparations for the upcoming mundial in Qatar.
