Former Asante Kotoko defender, Joe Hendricks has called on the management of the team to involve old players in the team to help them enjoy success.

The Ghanaian giants in the last few months have experienced what one may say has been a roller coaster ride.

The appointment of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a new board of directors brought about good vibes around the club but happenings in the last few weeks have been distasteful especially the sacking of coach Maxwell Konadu.

Reacting to what has happened in an interview with Hot FM, Joe Hendricks has noted that there is a need for the club to involve more of its former players.

“Current management of Kotoko needs to involve the old players in the management team, technical team for them to impact knowledge to the current players,” he noted.

Meanwhile, Joe Hendricks has charged Asante Kotoko players to up their game in order to enjoy triumph.

“During our time we play to save lives for Kotoko and the whole country as a whole current footballers needs to lift up their game and learn more on their Job to achieve success for Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC because Kotoko is a religion,” Joe Hendricks added.
